Even when GOD allowed Job to be tested mightily he did not waver in his faith. How many of us can truly say that when we are put to any test - great or small ? I know that I have always trusted GOD to know what is best for me and have not been patient to find out why things have been allowed to happen. He knows what is best for us even when we may wonder why. … Expand

It must not have been easy to destroy the earth because of mans wickedness. After the waters receded and the burnt offering was made, only then did GOD make it known that He would never again destroy the earth by flood. I cannot even imagine how much water fell during all the time it had been raining - obviously a great amount totally cover the earth and cover the highest mountains. … Expand

God had created everything upon the earth and in the worst flood ever all things but what GOD told Noah to put on the ark perished. What a disappointment He must have felt to go to such extremes to rid the world of the sinful nature. No creature was exempt from the flood that erased everything from the face of the earth. … Expand

Imagine the disappointment that GOD felt when He saw how evil man had become. To want the destroy the earth and everything on it was not something He took lightly. Once sin entered the picture, there was no stopping man from becoming sinful. It is a good thing that GOD is forgiving - so glad that the earth does not get wiped out on a regular basis to remind us that GOD hates sin. … Expand

The blame game at its finest. Adam blamed Eve who blamed Satan. Instead of Satan stepping up and saying "Yep, I told them all would be fine." He sat back and let Adam and Eve lay the blame on someone else. Eve was enticed and in return made it look good and Adam trusted her. Sin is so easy to fall into and hard to get away from especially when we don't want to believe that what we are doing is wrong. … Expand

The serpent makes it sound so good that the eyes would be opened and that they would be like GOD. He knew that was not true but made Eve believe it to be so. That is what sin does to our lives - the first time it seems ok. Eventually we just keep on believing that and we continue on even though we know it is wrong. Sin makes itself look good and we are fools to keep believing that GOD will not mind. … Expand

Before sin became an issue clothes were not needed. Imagine being able to walk around naked and no one thinking that there was anything wrong with it. Because of mans sin in the garden, shame was made known. While man was created perfect, it did not last. … Expand

God created everything but even then there was not a suitable mate for Adam. The first surgery was performed so that man and woman could be made for each other. God had perfect plans for man and woman. … Expand

I can not imagine living for as long as they did in the days of old. To think that at 90 you would still be considered young. We will not be able to know what that is like until eternity although there we will never grow old. … Expand

How often do we wait until it is too late to find out the consequences of our sin. We think that nobody will know what we have done and that it in time will not catch up with us. Sin is so enticing to us - the world has become very worldly and really reels us in. What we may not realize is that if we do something wrong once and don't see it as sin then we will continue to do it over and over. Sin is sneaky and if we are not living right, it will devour us … Expand

All God had to do was speak and what He desired was done. He was in complete control of how He wanted the world to look like and had a definite plan.
