Therefore, preparing your minds for action, and being sober-minded, set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance,
15
but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct,
16
since it is written, "You shall be holy, for I am holy."
17
And if you call on him as Father who judges impartially according to each one's deeds, conduct yourselves with fear throughout the time of your exile,

Keep mind-set right, with God! (2) Be in control, not drunk/out of control, Spirit control. (3) Not be conformed to my former lusts, make my conduct Holy! (Worldly or Holy?) (4) Man-up and respect God for all that He has done for me and know that I'll be judged for my actions. So, my thoughts, ways, and actions should be/I am to be Holy, for He is Holy!
