Sons of God are first mentioned in Genesis where they are said to have looked upon the daughters of men and having found them beautiful took wives of them. Genesis 6:2 further in the text we see that the sons of God had children with the daughters of men and it seems to indicate that their offspring were notable for their size and strength. v.4. Two things should be noted, first, it seems that the intermingling of the sons of God and the daughters of men appears to have affected the general moral state of mankind negatively, (v.5) also, all this took place before the flood. What about Goliath? Were some of the "giant genes" carried on through Noah's family line? Or was Goliath some other sort of giant?
