We live in Egypt. Egypt refers to the land of sin. Where ever you live and there is sin in the land it is a Egypt. God says although you are in a land of sin I Am with you. Just because you live in the place of sin it does not give you permission to live and be a slave to sin. You are a holy people of God. You are to live and speak and your actions are to be of holiness. We are a great nation 2 God spoke to Israel in visions of the night and said, "Jacob, Jacob." And he said, "Here I am." 3 He said, "I am God, the God of your father; do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for I will make you a great nation there. 4 "I will go down with you to Egypt, and I will also surely bring you up again; and Joseph will close your eyes."
