Compare Daniel 12:5-7 to Revelation 10:5-7. In Daniel, the angel on Daniel's side of the river asks "How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?" to the man clothed in linen who says "...it shall be for a time, times, and an half... all these things shall be finished." In Revelation, "...the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth... that there should be time no longer... the mystery of God should be finished..." This seems to be the same scene from different times and different perspectives with the 3 1/2 year period of God's wrath thrown in to really perplex things.
