Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.

See Revelation 9:4 about the reason for this seal as it pertains to the locust from hell, whatever those are.
See Ezekiel 9:4 about the reason for the seal as it pertains to Ezekiel's vision of those in his day who were upset about the wickedness at that time.
Also, this is obviously before God starts pouring out his wrath.
