The world we live in reflects the latter part of this verse. We live in a world in which people are unwilling to place themselves under the authority of the one true living God, but they are willing to place themselves under the authority of the expectations of the world. I pray that God reminds me regularly that a relationship with him is a relationship of faith, obedience, reverence, and a knowledge of him that creates a fear of being separated from him and part of a dying world. 12/29/15
