Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.
26
Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.

Living our christianity lifestyle as a show is like washing only the outside of a cup. We can not say we are christians and our behaviour and character is of the world. The bible says love not the world or the things that are in the world. If you love the world, the love of the Father is not in you. The doctrine of this world is not what Christ teaches us. We need not to join the world with their dirty lifestyle but to copy the character of Christ. We also need to be clean inside by the renewal of our mind, holy and acceptable before the the Lord.
