Their father had given each of them valuable gifts of silver, gold, and costly items, and also some of Judah’s fortified towns. However, he designated Jehoram as the next king because he was the oldest.

But when Jehoram had become solidly established as king, he killed all his brothers and some of the other leaders of Judah.

The bible says there is no peace for the wicked. Let us try and make sure that evil thought did not dwell in our heart. The moment we allow that, Satan will have his way and we will then be an agent of wickedness. Let us try and make sure that we read our bible daily and also use the word to counter every evil thought that comes into our mind. My prayer is that the grace to study the word shall the Lord grant unto us all IJN.
